Connections NYT has quickly become a favorite in the New York Times' Games section, akin to the viral sensation Wordle. Created by associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, this daily word game challenges players to identify common threads among groups of four words.
Each puzzle presents 16 words divided into sets categorized by themes such as book titles, software, or country names. Players must correctly group words that share a common trait; guessing incorrectly deducts from their limited mistakes allowance. The game resets daily, progressively increasing in difficulty across color-coded levels: yellow (easiest), green, blue, and purple.
