Connections is a daily word game from The New York Times that has quickly become a hit on social media. The game, developed with the help of associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, challenges players to group 16 words into four categories. Each group contains four words that share a common link, but only one correct grouping exists per puzzle. Incorrect guesses count as mistakes, with players allowed up to four errors before the game ends.
Players can rearrange and shuffle the board to make connections easier to spot. Each category is color-coded, with yellow being the simplest and purple the most challenging. As with Wordle, players can share their results on social media.
