Connections is a daily word game from The New York Times that has quickly gained popularity. Created by associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, the game challenges players to group four words that share a common characteristic. Played on web browsers and mobile devices, each puzzle consists of 16 words that players must categorize into four distinct groups.
The challenge is to correctly identify all four words in each category. If you guess correctly, those words are removed from the board. However, you only have up to four mistakes before the game ends. To aid in solving the puzzle, players can rearrange and shuffle the board. The groups are color-coded from yellow (easiest) to purple (hardest). Like Wordle, you can share your results on social media.
