Connections NYT is the latest word game sensation from The New York Times, capturing players' attention with its engaging challenge of identifying common threads among words. As with similar games like Wordle, Connections resets daily, increasing in difficulty with each new puzzle. Here’s your guide to today’s puzzle with hints and solutions to help you along the way.
Connections is a daily word game featured in The New York Times' Games section. Developed with the help of associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, this game challenges players to find groups of four words that share a common theme. Each puzzle consists of 16 words that need to be grouped into four categories. While many words might seem to fit together, only one grouping is correct. Players have up to four mistakes before the game ends.
Connections can be played on both web browsers and mobile devices. The board allows players to rearrange and shuffle the words to aid in finding the right connections. The categories are color-coded by difficulty: yellow (easiest), green, blue, and purple. After solving, players can share their results on social media, similar to Wordle.
