Much like Wordle, Connections resets at midnight, and each new puzzle becomes progressively challenging. Below, you'll find hints, tips, and strategies to help you tackle today's puzzle.
If you prefer to jump straight to the answers, they are provided at the end of this article for August 25. However, if you'd like to solve it on your own, read on for some useful clues and tips.
The NYT's new daily word game, Connections, has quickly become a hit on social media. Created by associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, Connections challenges players to group four words that share a common theme.
Each puzzle consists of 16 words, which must be organized into four categories. These categories can range from book titles and software names to country names and beyond. While several words might seem to fit together, only one grouping is correct. If you identify all four words in a set correctly, they are removed from the board. Incorrect guesses count as mistakes, with players allowed up to four mistakes before the game ends.
Players can also rearrange and shuffle the board to make finding connections easier. Each group is color-coded by difficulty: yellow is the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Like Wordle, results can be shared on social media.
